New Orleans Day Two and Three

The family agenda for day two read:  "Enjoy New Orleans!"  So we did.  It is a little hard with Carter who is still napping twice a day, but we worked around it the best we could.  Ashley arrived on Thursday, but really we just walked around.  That night we went to the Under Armor Party with dad.  All the big companies have big parties for their coaches.  SIU is an Under Armor team. We did go out to Bourbon Street for a bit.  Had a Hurricane at Pat O'Briens!

Friday we woke up and headed to Cafe Du Monde .  This was the first of multiple visits:)  Lauren even got interviewed by a news station.  Little did that reporter know she had hit the jackpot with Coach S's daughter!

 

That afternoon we headed to open practice for the Jayhawks!  The Superdome is massive.

Carter was more entertained by the water bottle and crawling all over the floor.

Grandpa came and took Carter on the National Championship floor.  It was really cool!  We have better pics coming soon.  The KU photographer was out there with them taking pics, these were with my Iphone.
