Happy Birthday to Me!

Fun birthday weekend!  Niles had to work, but he still made it fun.  We ate fajitas and I even waited until my actual birthday to open presents.  If you know Niles and I that is a miracle!

Carter and I went to Denver Sunday to see Lisa (who is now a Denver resident!!!!) and Jodi.  Carter started throwing up in the car.  We stopped at Jodi's cleaned the car up, took a bath, and headed right back home.  Boo!  I think he got car sick.  Wish we could have stayed:( Going to enjoy our day off tomorrow and then back to work!  Somehow 4 day weeks always seem really loooong.

Playing with our new train!  He doesn't share this toy very well and truthfully I of really want to play with it! We need more track and trains so we can do some really cool things.  Maybe I should have asked for those for my birthday and then not shared with Carter...

Things that make you Laugh was the prompt in this weekly photo thing I am doing.  These were the pics I took and had a hard time picking which one to submit.

 This was suppose to be for Christmas Decorations, but he stole it and has been playing in it since.  Forget all those Christmas toys, all you need is a box!

Pinterest and Getting Crafty

I have found quite an addiction in Pinterest.  As much as people make fun of me I do use it a lot like planning a few Christmas crafts!  I also use it for cooking, photography stuff, and things like planning Carter's  upcoming birthday!

Garden Stepping stones for the Grandparents

Our ornament of the year...Mistletoes:)  Painted by Carter.  He laughed every time I made an impression of his feet and would get all ticklish when I pushed down on his toes.  My one wish with this one was that I had done it last year.  Super tiny feet might make it a smidge cuter.  Next baby:)

Christmas Part Two: MO and IL

We were picked up by my cousin Tami and her family and we headed to Springfield to have a Gallagher/Branscum Christmas and watch the Salukis play the Bears.  I kept Carter up while we waited and this was how tired he was.

This is what happened when we got in the car...Cale!  He was way to exciting entertainment for Carter to fall asleep.  He of course fell asleep 15 min outside of Springfield.  He survived.

My family from Michigan was in for one night!  They got to meet Carter for the first time!

New toy from Uncle Jamie.  Had to try it out in the hotel hallway!  That didn't make it to Colorado yet.

Plane ride above.  After the tiny flight I had to collect our baggage in STL and take a shuttle to a different terminal.  Carter had to ride like this for a little while.
