Milestones

Carter rolled over...twice in a row.  I of course missed the first one, but came running with the camera when Niles got excited.  Haven't yet reached those 2 month milestones, he wanted to skip ahead to 4 month!  Probably a fluke, but still the highlight of our day!

He received his vaccinations on Monday in preparation for his first plane ride to Houston on Saturday.  He's been very sleepy for a change and ran a small fever for a day, but slowly returning to normal.  The doc said he is below the 25th percentile in weight and above the 75th percentile in height.  She wants him to gain more weight. We are working on it.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today was a fantastic day!  Niles had the day off and we literally watched basketball from 10 in the morning until 11 at night.  Carter got to wear his new green outfit and basketball socks to celebrate the eventful day. This has been a big week for the little man.  Lots of first:  First bottle, first time to sleep in crib, and the official move from newborn clothes to 0-3.  He is a growing boy!

I promised video, but it is going to have to wait until I am somewhere with a faster internet connection.  Sorry:)

1 Month Old!

Can't believe our little boy is already 4 weeks old!  I plan on taking pics in this chair every month so you can watch Carter grow.  The first pic is from when he was two weeks old, the next few are our attempt at a one month pic.  He was not feeling very cooperative...

Maternity Leave Timing and March Madness!

I didn't realize how great the timing of my maternity leave was!  Carter and I can watch basketball from sun up to sun down.  We are starting him off right...

Clean Bill for all of us!

We have been to the doctor 5 times in the last two weeks!  I didn't think it was possible to go more than when I was pregnant! After all of those appointments Carter is now circumcised, back to his birth weight,  given a clean bill of health and told to come back at 2 months when he will start immunizations.  That means no first round NCAA for him, can't travel until after those shots.  He will be traveling the week of April 19.  Making a visit to Lawrence first to meet Grandpa and then on to Tulsa to meet...well lots of people.  I was given the ok to start doing a little more physical activity and my incision looks great.  I just can't wait to wear my normal pants again!

Can't wait for Hailee to be in middle school and be the perfect babysitter. She is great with kids, must be all that big sister experience!
