Lazy Blogger

I have been a lazy blogger lately.  We have had a couple of weeks of a death cold working its way through our house.  I still can't say it is gone yet, but we are all feeling better.    Here are some pics of what has been happening round here lately.

 He has decided that he is ready to go potty on the potty.  Now that we have been practicing taking our pants off he will drop trow anywhere

 When he got sick anytime he would cough he would wake up.  He decided this was the time to crawl out of his crib.  It happend like 7 times in one night.  Everytime he would come out of his room he would say something differnt.  "Good Morning!"  "Snuggle Mommy"  " See Cayle"  "I need kisses" and on and on.  How does a 2 year old already know how to work the system! 

We converted his crib into a big boy bed and he loves it.  After the first few nights we have had no problems with him staying in it. 

 Last weekend we went to Denver for the night to go to a Rockies game for Niles's birthday.  Carter and I walked around more than watched baseball, but it was a great night.

Spring Break!

Carter and I went to Illinois to see my parents, sister, and grandparents for Spring Break a few weeks ago.  I don't know if I will ever travel again until Summer is officially here.  We had some rough traveling days.  On our trip down we had the biggest snow storm of the year.  I decided when we woke up in the morning that I would book tickets on CME so I didn't have to drive in it.  It ended up taking us about 13 hours to get from my house to our hotel.  It was awful.   The crazy thing is Carter didn't cry until the very last 10 min of the trip.  He was a rockstar.  We weren't sitting on the van for the whole 13 hours.  We spent some time eating lunch and roaming City Market in Vail waiting for the pass to open. Good thing that City Market had a large toy selection.  We watched the movie Rio twice on the Ipad.  I did meet a lot of nice people, but I would not choose to do it again.

 He would go up in this thing and no way out but a slide or the entrance.  I was scared I was going to have to go in after him if he got scared.  Carter scared of anything, what was I thinking.  He did it like a million times.
