Tumble Tots

Niles has taken Carter to tumble tots at the rec center a few times on his day off.  Carter loves it!  I came down for the last 15 min today on my lunch break to watch.  I took a few pics on the DL.  The rec center asked us not to take pics in swim lessons bc other people's kids are in them.  I didn't want to get in trouble here so I was sneaky.  Me taking quick photos of a running baby = not so good pics.  Oh well, you can get the point.

Loves the Trampoline

Likes the foam and then doesn't like the foam

I was so surprised that he did this so well!  He would hang and Niles would push him.  He would eventually let go and then want to do it again.  He also hung form this little mini bar.

Fun Times!

Pumpkins

We went to the Silverthorne Pumpkin Fest last weekend.  It was slightly disappointing.  We want a pumpkin patch like in OK where you have a field of pumpkins, hayrides, animals, corn mazes.  What was that place called Allen Ranch?  That is what I want and it doesn't exist.  The good thing about pumpkin fest was everything was free...even the pumpkins!  It is also in Silverthorne where they have Old Chicago Pizza:)

Sick, Sick, Sick

I feel like I have been sick forever.  I have had a constant runny nose that progresses into a sinus headache.  I started feeling pretty bad on Saturday when Corrie, Drew, and Owen left.  I ended up leaving work early on Monday.   About 4 o'clock that day my body decided now was a good time to get the stomach virus that has been going around that Carter had when we were in Illinois.  The really bad part is I started my 14 hours of throwing up while alone with Carter.  He of course wanted to be right next to me.  He would come over and spit in the toliet bc I guess that is what he thought I was doing.  He also played with his Mr. Potato Head, pulled out all of my feminine products, towels, and toliet paper from under the sink, tried straightening his hair with my chi. He had a lot of fun while I hugged the toilet.  Now a week later I am feeling better, but still have that runny nose.
On a more exciting note, this is what happened to me today...

I have more pics coming and will tell the story then!

Phillips!

Owen and those people you call parents came to visit last week.  We had a fun few days watching the boys play.  Sometimes they did well and sometimes we had a little toy fightage.  For the most part they did well and even had some fun.  I can't wait to watch them grow and I hope they are as close as Niles and his cousins and myself and mine:)

 Playing with Aunt Corrie
Jumping on the couch..bad habit I know
 Now everyone tackle Corrie!

I Made lasagna and it was great...but not sweet enough for Niles:)

Illinois Trip II

Carter and went to Carbondale last weekend to surprise my grandparents and see the rest of the fam.  They were very surprised and excited to see us.  It was a busy weekend.  My dad had his golf tournament going on and recruits in town.  The first night we went to the dinner that went with the golf tournament.  They had a Saluki bounce house that Carter loved.  My dad took him with him to schmooze the crowd.  While dad was giving his speech Carter ran and ran around this room in the back.  My mom or I chased him around.  Everytime the crowd would start clapping he would stop and clap like crazy.  The next day we went to the SIU vs Indiana State football game.  They had a tailgate before it for the players and recruits.

Carter stole a rice crispie treat from Grandpa

Why is he looking at it oddly? Maybe it doesn't taste so good with the Ketchup he dipped it in and cheese?

Playing ball with Granny.

Checking out the court.

1st football game!

Grandpa took him on the field at half time

He was ready to go play

He loved honey of course

He kept going behind her and saying "go go".

Ashley and her roommate Gabe came up Sunday, but I somehow didn't get any pics of that day.
Sadly our trip didn't end so well.  When we woke up on Monday Carter had thrown up in his bed and kept throwing up all morning.  Thankfully he took a nap and woke up not throwing up and on the plane we went.  He didn't feel good and couldn't eat or drink anything, but we made it through all THREE plane trips with no puking.  We may have passed on germs to the whole country, but at least we made it home!
