Happy Memorial Day!

I told you my posts would decline when I went back to work!  I've been back for a little over a week.  First day was hard, but he (and I) have done really well.  He did great at daycare.  When I picked him up, Grandma Linda said, "He is such a good baby!"  That made me feel better about him being there.  This last week my mom was here.

We went to Blues, Brews, and BBQ fest up at Beaver Creek. Had a lot of fun tasting BBQ from all over.  Niles rocked the Baby Bjorn and Beer.  Carter didn't have any.

  We got more comments on his socks!  Thanks Aunt Ash!

 He is talking all the time now.  He was really funny in that thing just talking away as we walked through the crowd!

  The Letos and Lindals came over for a day before Memorial Day BBQ.  Maizy loves the Carter chair, but not as much as Carter!  Future BFFs.

 New things he is doing...

Growing...Growing...Growing...

We bought some new outfits at the Carter Outlet and they don't fit.  Good thing they were only $5 bc I already washed them.  I made him wear one of them at least once, even though he has a camel toe.  The tightness and diaper make him look like he has...well you can see for yourself.

He moves around like crazy in his bed, I'm always interested to see what position I will find him in

He giggles, he smiles, he sucks his thumb like crazy.

Can't wait to spend the whole summer with him!

Gangi and Pop-pop will be here in a week!

3 Months Old!

Can't believe it has already been 3 months.  He is a growing boy.

One more week and then back to work.  He will go to Daycare for two days and then my mom will be here.  Daycare for a few more days and then Johnny and Terry will be here.  Then summer time! Other than being born on Valentine's day, it really was perfect timing.  By the time he is in daycare full time he will be 6 months old. 

I think I fixed the comments where anyone can make comments.  Someone try so I can see if it worked.

Mother's Day

We had a very relaxing mother's day.  Niles and Carter made me my favorite breakfast of sausage balls and biscuits. 

 Niles went up to the clinic to give me my gift...a clean house...this is what it looks like in case you didn't know...hairless dogs.  They really like their summer haircuts. 

We went to the Boot for dinner and sat on their awesome patio.

Happy Birthday Niles!

We had a great weekend celebrating Niles's 29th birthday.  Saturday the Leto's came and became our first babysitters.  They said Carter was fantastic.  Maizy entertained him, he ate, and then went to sleep without even crying a single tear.  We were happy that he was as easy going with them as he is with us.  Then I started thinking about it and told Niles, "He didn't even care that we weren't around, he just went right to sleep!"  He ignored me.  We went to Kelly Liken (yeah) which is a very expensive place in Vail.  Every off season they run 50% off specials.  We try to take advantage.  Kelly Liken was also on Top Chef last season, so it makes us feel especially important.  On his real birthday we made steak and ate his favorite chocolate cheesecake.  Happy Birthday Niles, enjoy the last year of your twenties.

We visited the twins and Jodi in Denver.  Carter refused to take his hands out of his mouth and Carson fell asleep waiting on him.  Brayden was just hanging out.  Carter is the senior baby, by one day.  The twins listened to their mommy and came on the day after Valentine's Day!
