Weird to be writing the post about the start of Kindergarten with four weeks left in the school year. It has flown by! Let's make this a year in review. Carter is going to a Spanish Immersion school. All of his classes are taught in Spanish, except for his Specials classes. We have really liked it, but it's not easy. He will be talking and drop words into conversation that are in Spanish and he doesn't even know he's doing it. Pretty cool. One of the first weeks of school they had a big assembly to kick off a big reading program they do. When he came home I asked him about it and he knew nothing. It took me awhile to realize that he didn't know about it, bc they told them in Spanish and he didn't understand. Surprisingly not much of that has happened. I have definitely had a review of my own Spanish and we almost killed each other over the numbers 17 and 20, but alas we made it through the year...well so far!
