That night Carter fell in the bathtub and broke a tooth, knocked one loose, and was bleeding above three of them. He cried and cried and cried. It was awful. The only reason he stopped crying was Niles had bought Hungry, Hungry Hippos to play and he wanted to play "that game."

We went to the pediatric dentist in Glenwood on Wed. That place was awesome. They let him play with everything. He was playing with all the suction toys and air. He kept turning the background music up as high as it would go and then start dancing. He kept saying, "That's a good song!" Whenever the dentist or asst would ask him to open his mouth he would say, "I don't think so." Needless to say he loved the dentist and asks to go back everyday. The report was the tooth that was broken will be left for now. It may discolor, but he would have to be sedated to fix it and that's not good. The tooth to the left is loose, but will hopefully heal and tighten back up. If not then it will have to be pulled. No root or nerve damage. Fingers crossed that tooth stays white and the other tightens up! (Note the dr had to yell all of this at me, bc the music was so loud:) You can see in the pic how bruised his gums are and his little lip was swollen for 2 days. I gave him lots of ice cream!
I have a root canal scheduled for Monday and I am actually very excited bc I have been in so much pain. Let's hope we picked the right tooth or I may get to have two root canals next week.
