Rodeo

The Eagle rodeo is a big thing around here. I have never been. Niles has been once. We decided to visit the 4H barn this year and let Carter visit all the animals. A surprise benefit was a lot of my students had animals here and a girl that works with Niles her son won grand prize pig and her daughter won grand prize cow. It was a last minute decision to go so I only had my phone to take pics.

The owner told us it was fine if Carter touched bc he was super friendly. I don't think he had this in mind.

So that is Kelly Liken. She is a very well known chef in Vail and was on Top Chef. We love her restaurant and the show. She bids on meat which is cool. I may have stalked her a bit to take her picture. The kid in the hat is also a former student.
