Living on Tulsa Time

Really the last 4 months have been a blur.  Lots of great times, lots of hard times.  No I am still not unpacked.  Yes I've decided to just give up.  Who needs to unpack the circular saw anyway...not me:)

Update on Tulsa Happenings.....

Carter is liking school.  He had a hard time at first.  Kept wanting to go back to Ms. Andria and the mountains, but he is getting better.  Not behaving the best, but we are working on it.   I'm prepared for lots of fun parent/teacher conferences in my future.

My school is good.  It is really, really big!  Over 2000 kids in the one building. No bff's and still trying to learn the ropes.  The kids are great and I like what I am teaching.  The rest will come with time.  My 6th Grade English teacher is a teacher with me now, and he recognized me:)  I did teach a lesson that I have taught multiple times about non-fiction reading.  The article is about the Mt. St. Helen's explosion and I always say, "Look at that mountain and imagine..."  I literally was very confused when I got to that part of the lesson today, wondering where was that mountain out of my window!

Spending lots of time with family and friends, which has been great.

Now time for pictures.  My phone is being difficult about pictures and I don't even know where my good camera is.  I did unpack it, just not sure where I put it.  I haven't looked very hard though.  I'm sure it is sitting in plain sight.

Visiting Springfield to see Granny and Grandpa!  Went to see the new Planes movie

Granny and Gpa both had on Cartoon network jammies.  Carter liked the Elmo.
