Happy Birthday Carter!

Carter turned 3 last week.  He gets the whole birthday thing this year which is fun to watch.  It was a mixture of emotions all week, but he had lots of fun.  My mom got here late Wednesday and Johnny and Terry (after battling Presidents Day ski traffic) arrived Friday around lunch.  They surprised Carter by bringing Owen!  Owen is officially invited to move in with me.  They played and played and wore each other out.  Owen is going to make a great big brother.  He is very patient with Carter...who is not.  Friday we ate a "Dusty Boot" which is Carter speak for a hamburger at the boot, but then he ended up eating a peanut butter and jelly so he could be just like Owie.  We came home and ate the first birthday cake.  I got this idea off of pinterest of course.  It didn't quite work out like it was suppose to and it was super sweet, but still fun.

Saturday was his birthday party.  I had debated and debated if I should move ahead with out original plan or not.  I decided to just go for it.  We had it had the Rec Center.  It was amazing.  They did the gymnastics room for 45 min and then inflatables.  I thought the inflatables were the one's they put out for tumble tots sometimes, but no.  They were two very huge inflatable that were fun for kids and adults.  Hard, but glad I did it.  He loved it and wanted nothing to do with me.  He's only three and already to cool for mom:(
