Illinois

Forgive my messy post. I am still computer less and blogging from my phone. It is very cool that I can do that, but is not as easy and neat as my computer. Carter and I visited my fam last week in Carbondale. My sister and grandparents drove in from Springfield to see us too! We flew out of Denver into St. Louis. Now that Carter is mobile he is a little more difficult to travel with. He doesn't understand personal space which isn't very fun for the sleeping man next to us or an apologetic mommy. He eventually feel asleep and it was fine.

My parents have bought a house, but in Hinson fashion are completely gutting and redoing the house. They are living in a college townhouse! Members of the track team are just a few doors down and like to party into the night. The new house will be awesome. It is on 5 acres of land, has a pool, and needs a lot of work.

My parents townhouse. Yes that Is my father's wardrobe in the living room and patio furniture in the loving room. Don't judge ...and don't ask my mom how it's going!

My sis on a cot in the living room. She is covered in a towel. My mom is going to kill me:)

My parents future house where they will have plenty of blankets

Back

My mom is cursing the pool. It has been a little difficult...don't bring it up either.

Kitchen Isn't it nice

Master bed. My favorite part of the house is their bed and bath and not bc the bath is currently in the bedroom...I would love that though:)

The bath goes there

Lovely wallpaper that I know my mom will keep

Land all around

They are getting rid of this outdoor shower. Ash and I were trying to convince them to keep it. We were overruled.

The Littlest Saluki

Carter playing dress up with aunt Ashley.

This would be the tiny plane Carter and I flew on on our way home. Instead of driving to St. Louis we flew out of Marionville. It seated 8 people. I bet I live at a higher elevation than we flew at. The take off and landing were pretty bumpy which Carter thought was funny... Mommy did not.

He traveled great on the plane...not so well on the drive home. See previous post.
