15 Months Young!

Carter is 15 months this week!  He is growing from a baby into a little boy fast.  This is a great age...and a tiring age!  He is so funny.  We just sit and let him entertain us and then run after him as he tries to eat whatever he has found on the ground.  He is growing and changing everyday.  It is amazing to watch and we are having so much fun!


Things to Rem about Carter at 15 months:
-Talking up a storm, still can't understand much.  He picks up baby talk phrases that he repeats them over and over.  We speculate what he is saying...like with the dogs:)  He does say mama, dada, and his most favorite word ball!  He is starting to say baby and go, but those are not very consistent.
-We think he has 6 teeth coming in right now including all four of his first year molars.  That part has not been so much fun.  I don't think they normally come in like that.  Right now you can see two of them through and the others still right under the skin.  He always gets sick when new teeth are coming in.  He wondered around for a week just moaning.  We did tylenol for days, which we never do.  We tried all the teething toys we have.  Best cure...a carrot.  He was happy as could be biting down on a carrot.  Down side is carrots are one of the biggest choking hazards for a baby, so you have to watch him.
-Busy, busy, and scared of nothing.
-Climbing, which means  a lot of falling.
-Not a great listener:)  He does things that he knows he isn't suppose to do, so he starts shaking his head no before he starts doing it.  Sometimes he stops, most of the time not.
-He can go from happy as can be, to very unhappy in seconds.
-Still eats whatever.  He wants whatever you are eating.  Favorites would be blueberries, milk, mac and cheese, and avocado. The boy can eat and it all goes straight to his little santa belly that I love to poke and get a giggle.
-We don't go to the doc until Sat, but he weighed last week when he was sick and he was almost at 22 lbs.

Loves to drink out of mommy's cup

Loves to snuggle with soft things.  When we read the touch and feel books he has to snuggle with each page.  Sometimes he gives kisses too.

We started this terrible habit when he was having teeth problems, he loves the couch.  Falls off and wants right back on.  He plays like he wants to love on you and then when you pick him up he scrambles to get out of your arms and playing on the couch.  Already a manipulator:)

He likes to dump everything over.  Couldn't quite figure out how to get the goal back up so why not just shoot at it on the floor?

This is a video my dad sent from his office window.  Carter has this app on my phone where he pokes at an animal and it makes the sound.  He kept trying to poke at the elephants.

We just booked tickets home to Tulsa for a mini Clee family reunion.  I'm excited to meet Lisa's new son baby Dalton!  He is a mini Matt:)
